The International Tamil Film Awards which was held at Singapore recently was a grand event with few biggies from the Tamil film industry attending the event. Mankatha won several awards such as the best film and its director Venkat Prabhu got the best director award, best cinematographer went to Sakthi Saravanan, best supporting actor Premgi Amaren and best female singer Suchitra.
Silambarasan(STR) won the best actor award but
he couldn't make it to the award ceremony as he was in the US, Jai and Shriya Saran also won awards in the acting category. Shiva was the host of the award function.
