If reports are true, Bollywood Actress Sonam Kapoor who is following the footsteps of her dad might act in the movie opposite Dhanush titled Raanjhnaa which is a directorial venture of Anand L Roy. Dhanush got this chance to act in this Hindi movie after his Kolaveri song went on to become popular worldwide. It is also Dhanush's Bollywood debut movie.
With Kasi as its background the director was looking for someone suitable for the lead role and zeroed in on Dhanush as he was both physically and mentally suitable for the same.
Sonam Kapoor like her dad is developing her contacts down in the South. Since Sonam is already busy with her committed movies, the actress is trying to work her dates out for this film.
