STR with Santhanam in Vaalu

Simbu and Santhanam who were last seen in Vaanam and Osthi will team up again for a film which is to be director by newcomer Vijay. STR who is currently doing three films such as Vettai Manna, Poda Podi and Vada Chennai went ahead and signed on one new project which is produced by S S Chakravarthy.

When contacted Chakravarthy's office, its reported that they are still in talking terms and will finalise everything soon. Music director Thaman confirmed this news who will be working again with STR after Osthe. He said, "This movie is titled Vaalu and it will be a comedy-action entertainer. Simbu has once again paired up with Santhanam in this one. Debutant Vijay will be directing this film and it will be a different role for STR".

And also a little birdie tells us that the unit is planning to rope in Nayanthara to play the lead opposite Simbu. Well, we have to wait for the news and if this happens a lot controversy will surround them for sure!
