Ace Director Mani Ratnam who gave us many hit and most memorable movies is back after almost a three years gap. His last venture Raavan(Hindi) aka Raavanan(Tamil) hit the theatres in 2010 and Kadal is all set to release by February 1st 2013.
Kadal aka Kadhal by few is special because, Mani Ratnam introduces two new faces in the lead roles such as Gautham Karthik and Thulasi Nair. Gautham Karthik is the son of actor Karthik and Thulasi Nair is the daughter of Radha. Also in important roles we have Arjun who is making his presence felt in big screens recently and also after a very long time, we get to see Arvind Swamy in the movies.
Others in the cast includes Ponvannan, Pasupathy, Lakshmi Manchu and Thambi Ramaiah.
Music for this film which is already a chart buster is composed by none other than the Oscar Award Winner A.R. Rahman and cinematography is by Rajiv Menon. Release date for this movie is scheduled on February 1st 2013.
