Richa Gangopadhyay who was introduced as Archana in the Telugu movie Leader(2010) which had Rana Daggubati as the hero later on started signing many Telugu movies. He debut movie in Tamil Mayakkam Enna got her critical acclaim for the acting skills and she was noted by many.
She also won the Vijay Awards for Best Debut Actress and was also nominated for Vijay Award for Best Actress and Filmfare Award for Best Actress in Tamil. Now the actress is currently filming movies such as Iddarammayilatho, Mirchi and Sir Vachaaru in Telugu and in Tamil she is doing Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum.
