For many years people thought that STR and Dhanush were rivalry. There was an intense fight between them in all the matters. When Dhanush's "Why this kolaveri di" went on to become popular worldwide its rumoured that STR released his "Love Anthem for World Peace" as a result of his competitive nature.
Also later when Dhanush's "Sachin Anthem" which was slowly gaining popularity was sabotaged by someone. Dhanush indirectly pointed out to STR. When quizzed about this both the stars maintained silence about this matter.
But, at the recently held SIIMA (South Indina International Movie Awards) both Dhanush and STR won the highest awards and they were the first to congratulate each other.
Also to make it clear, STR who is active in a microblogging site recently posted a picture of him and Dhanush chatting up in a flight while returning to Chennai from Dubai. Now this is a message showing that how rivals can be friends and this must be followed by all.
