Venkat Prabhu who after his successfull venture Mankatha decided on his next film with Suriya in the lead titled Biriyani has now gone for a change in hero and it will be none other than Suriya's own brother Karthi.
When questioned about this to Venkat, he said, "As we all know Suriya is busy with Maatraan and after that he will move on to Singham 2, there are no dates available till the actor completes both the movies." He also added saying that,"I might work with Suriya once he finishes both his movies"
The pre-production work for Biriyani has started already and is going on at a full speed. The latest to join the crew will be Samantha who will play the female lead.
