Singam 2 which is directed by Hari has already started its work. The director was recently seen with Music director Devi Sri Prasad and lyricist Viveka composing few tunes for the movie.
Singam 2 will be one of the much awaited movie in Bollywood as well, because Singam first part which was remade in Hindi Singham went on to become a box office hit and made a huge collection. So, it can be assumed that the Bollywood industry is keeping an eye to make sure that they grab the rights as soon as possible.
I don't know what is wrong with these Indian film makers. They are waiting to grab the rights for a story like Singam? I don't know what is so different about that movie? It is like getting a remake rights for the Ramayanam and Mahabharatham. The story line of Singam is: A Police Inspector,an angry young man with six packs, who also does his romance part-time,fights the crims and fights them by putting his and his family's life at risk. Wow! What a story! I want to remake this in Japanese and Russian. I have never seen an hero character like this in Indian movies!! It is so.... different.

Even im not a huge fan of his but i do respect him for his hard work not only him but every actor, even though they get paid to do this. I am actually waiting for Singam 2! Im sure dir hari, surya, anushka,hansika,vivek, santhanam (the whole crew of singam 2)are going to rock
