Actor Karthik who made a grand entry with the movie Paruthiveeran won various awards for his role as Paruthiveeran. Later he went on to sign various movies which mostly became a hit. The actor is now currently filming for Saguni and Alex Pandian and has also signed in for All in All Azhagu Raja directed by M. Rajesh of Siva Manasula Sakthi fame.
Saguni which is a political drama film will have Karthi playing a totally new role which he hasn't potrayed yet so far.
This movie is directed by N. Shankar Dayal and produced by Antony Xavier. Saguni stars Karthi and Pranitha in the lead roles. Music direction for this film is handled by G. V. Prakash Kumar. This movie is expected to release sometime around June 2012. |
