Nayantara is in news again, well at least this time its not another controversy but for Sri Kala Sudha Telugu Association Awards. She was awarded with Ugadi Puraskar for her amazing performance in the Telugu film Sri Rama Rajyam. The event was honored by the presence of K Rosaiah, Governor of Tamil Nadu. Nayan after a long time makes a public appearance after her much alleged breakup with Actor Prabhu Deva. She was spotted wearing a beautiful red saree.

Nayanthara is currently not doing any Tamil films but she is doing a Telugu film titled "Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum" which is directed by Krish. The lead star in this movie opposite Nayantara is none other than Rana Daggubati who is also a popular face in Bollywood as well. Music is composed by M. M. Keeravani.
