| Davy Jones Dead |
Davy Jones, 30 December 1945 – 29 February 2012, the lead singer of The Monkees, died this Wednesday following a heart attack in his hometown of Indiantown, Florida. A women who was with him called 911 asking for help, ambulance arrived and he was taken to a hospital. He was announced brought dead in the hospital. Davy was 66 years old. When quizzed about this to Davy Jones publicist Deborah Robicheau, she told that, "The British singer suffered a massive heart-attack while sleeping at his home"
Jones current family members are his wife Jessica and four daughters from previous marriages. Jones was named as the "Number one teen idol of all time" by Yahoo! Music in 2008. The Monkees popular songs which include "I'm A Believer","(I'm Not Your) Steppin Stone","Last Train to Clarksville","Daydream Believer","Pleasant Valley Sunday."
The Monkees albums and singles have sold over 65 million copies worldwide.
