The latest to join the cast of Thuppakki will be Jayaram. The actor who was last seen in Ponner-Shankar is back in this AR Murugadoss directed flick. However he didn't reveal much about his character, he only said "Yes! I have signed to play a role in Thuppakki" The shooting is expected to start as soon as the issue between the producers and directors are sorted out.
When asked Jayaram if he would be playing a negative shade, he said "I can't reveal about my character yet,
but i can say that its one important role in the movie. I previously played negative characters in movies such as Saroja and Dhaam Dhoom, but this doesn't mean I will do only negative roles."
