Anushka Shetty who is playing the female lead in Irandam Ulagam opposite Arya is to be having a dual role in this movie. One role will portray her as a family head and while the other will showcase her in a very different role which is of a aborigine women.
Anushka on her part is working hard to blend with the character, if sources are to be believed she is taking on "Martial Arts" classes since her character requires her in a lot of action sequence.
Irandaam Ulagam which is directed by Selvaraghavan is having huge expectations after the success of Mayakkam Enna with Dhanush in the lead.
In this movie, Arya is playing the lead and for the first time Harris Jayaraj is working with Selvaraghavan. Selva usually works with Yuvan Shankar Raja or G. V. Prakash Kumar, but this time around he has gone ahead with Harris.
