Billa 2 which released today amidst much expectations is going great guns. When the online tickets sales started few days before Billa 2 release, tickets were booked like hot cakes.
This India's first prequel which goes back to the roots of David Billa. As we all know that Billa is the one who is rich and always looking for the next big thing that's going to happen, but reaching this stage was not an easy task and David Billa is about how he gets to that position and takes control over everything.
The movie is full of action and one liners by Ajith. First half happens in coastal Tamilnadu and later moves into Goa. Both Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Adbullah have very less to do in this movie. Bruna flaunting here Bikini body is a high light.
Talking about Villains, both have done a great job and their screen presence were felt in a big way. Sudhanshu plays the calculating don while Vidyut gets to do all the action and boy o boy, he nailed it!
Other than that, Camera work is mindblowing. Yuvan's music has also helped the movie go forward in certain places. Also it was disappointing to see the "Gang Gang Gangster" at the end credits.
Final Verdict: Billa 2 is purely for Ajith fans and action movie fans, the second half spoils the movie a bit. But this new attempt of making a prequel is really good and the director Chakri has done a good job.</div>
