Vettai Mannan which has been in the making for a long time is still going on. STR has been in the USA for a long time to record for his Love Anthem for World Peace. He recently returned to Chennai and immediately started working in his movie. This action thriller movie is directed by debutante director Nelson who has been working with him since Manmadhan which was released at 2004.
Vettai Mannan features stars like Silambarasan, Jai, Hansika Motwani, Deeksha Seth and Poonam Kaur. Music for the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. S. S. Chakravarthy is producing this movie. With Simbu back in the sets, the movie is expected to release in the end 2012.
