Podaa Podi starring STR(as he prefers to be called) and Sarath Kumar's daughter Varalakshmi has been in the making for a long time. The movie is directed by debutant Vignesh Shivan. This rom-com movie is expected to hit the screens on valentine's day.
When quizzed about the delay in the making of this movie, a source said that "There is a portion in the movie which requires showing a baby when he/she is born and that same baby after six months" this is the reason for the delay in the movie.
With much hype around the movie, its sure going to set the screens on fire and also being the launch pad for Varalakshmi who is also awaiting the release of the movie.
