Masala Cafe might go for a title change as it is not entirely an Tamil word said its producer Kushboo. Kushboo is one of the producers for the movie and she said that "Masala Cafe will have to go for a title change as it will not get the entertainment tax exemption from the state government. Since the title is not entirely Tamil word."
Kushboo's husband Sundar.C who is directing this movie has also said the same. The couple are currently looking for an opt title for the movie and a new title is expected to be announced soon by them.
The movie stars Shiva, Vimal, Anjali, Oviya, Santhanam, John Vijay, Ilavarasu and Manobala whileTamanna Bhatia will be doing a special appearance. Music is composed by Vijay Ebenezer. The movie is expected to be released on April 15 2012.
